Perfecting the Protein Pancake

These pancakes have been a staple fro me. I have never been a breakfast person but now I cant wait to jump out of bed just to whip these up. They are so nutritious and easy to make. The best part is that they make between 8 and 12 small pancakes and its a full serving!

Ingredients

  • 40g Organic rolled oats from Wild Organics
  • 1/2 Cup (125ml) Original Almond Breeze
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 large free range egg
  • Coconut oil spray
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Chia seeds
  • Berries or fruit of your choice
  • Drizzle of Honey

Directions

  1. Add the oats, almond milk and egg to the Nutribullet and mix for 30 seconds
  2. Spray a non stick pan with the coconut oil and place on a medium heat
  3. Pour small amounts on mixture into the pan and cook for 30 seconds on each side or until starting to form small bubbles
  4. Flip and cook on the other side
  5. Stack and add your fruit and Chia seeds
  6. Enjoy while still warm and drizzle with honey
